We get an early start this morning. I finally get my opportunitiy to document southern Indiana's tobacco fields. The harvested leaves, drapped on stakes, begin the drying process. It's hard for me to believe that this crop is still being grown, but locals assure me it brings in the cash.

After leaving the library in Vevay we get a mid-morning start following the Ohio River. We stumble upon a tugboat graveyard before we enter the interstate road system and the rest of the drive home.
